Beaches

Stretching for almost 5 kilometres, Playa de Palma is the perfect spot for lovers of sun, sand, and sea. Here, you can enjoy a wide range of water sports, such as sailing, or simply relax with a refreshing drink at one of the local bars or restaurants. Furthermore, you can also visit Formentor, Es Trenc, or explore Illetas cove and the entire southwest coast of Palma Bay by catamaran.

If you are looking for an urban beach close to the hotel, Can Pere Antoni is the place for you. Spanning 750 metres, this beach of fine sand and crystal-clear waters is a local and tourist favourite. Surrounded by a wealth of bars, restaurants, and shops, it is an excellent choice for a beach day with a vibrant city atmosphere.

Natural spots

If there is one quintessential natural site in Mallorca, it is the Serra de Tramuntana. This UNESCO World Heritage Site stretches from the southwest of the island to the northern tip, in the Bay of Pollença, and consists of rocky paths surrounded by olive and carob trees. Experience Mallorcan wildlife first-hand, with species such as the osprey and the black vulture soaring overhead as you explore.

Additionally, our hotel JS Palma Plaza is located very close to Bellver Forest, the ideal place to enjoy nature and outdoor exercise. It has several trails and paths for both hiking and cycling. he forest is brimming with native vegetation and home to diverse wildlife; you can also take the opportunity to visit Bellver Castle, a magnificent 14th-century Gothic fortification.

Leisure and sport

Take the chance to enjoy your favourite sports! Thanks to the excellent climate and air quality, you can make the most of water activities such as snorkelling, paddle boarding, or kayaking, not forgetting mountain sports like cycling and hiking. Alternatively, you can perfect your swing at one of the golf courses near our hotel.

Heritage and culture

You cannot leave Palma without visiting its Cathedral. Built in 1229, it is one of the city’s most iconic monuments, one of the most majestic and beautiful Gothic cathedrals in all of Spain thanks to its Gothic rose window and its impressive stained-glass windows.

You also cannot miss the city’s main tourist landmarks, such as the Paseo del Borne, perfect for a day of shopping, the Old Town, with streets full of living history, the Lonja, another of the city’s great Gothic buildings, or Bellver Castle, from where you can enjoy breathtaking views of Mallorca.
