El Arenal is right in the bay of Palma, between the municipalities of Llucmajor and Palma de Mallorca, on the southwestern part of the island. Beaches

JS Paradise Sport is only 300 metres from El Arenal beach, a 4,600-metre-long beach with fine white sand. The beach at El Arenal has a pleasant promenade more than 4 km long from which you can admire the city of Palma. It is popular among cyclists and skaters. This beach area has a wide range of leisure options available, including bars, restaurants and shops.

Only 500 metres from the hotel is another smaller and quieter beach, Caló de Sant Antoni, and a few kilometres further, in the municipality of Llucmajor, are Cala Pi, enclosed by a beautiful pine grove, and Cala Blava, a rocky cove with a deep blue hue to the water. These two are great places for snorkelling.

Natural corners

Close to El Arenal is a noteworthy natural space in the surroundings of Cap Blanc, one of the most incredible cliffs on the entire island, where the so-called “Marina” of Llucmajor is formed. This area has great natural value and wonderful landscapes.

Llucmajor also has the vastest cycling network in Mallorca, with more than 400 km of duly signposted cycling routes, both inland and along the coast. These routes boast amazing views of the neighbouring farmlands and the island of Cabrera.

The area is ideal for practising all kinds of water sports, such as sailing, kayaking, scuba diving, fishing or paddle surfing, as the S’Arenal Yacht Club is only a 5-minute walk away from the hotel. The Son Antem golf courses are only 10 km away and have state-of-the-art facilities for practising this sport. And if you want to spend some time in nature, it will only take you a few minutes to find yourself speeding along Llucmajor’s more than 400 km of cycling routes, which are also perfect for trekking.
