At JS Hotels, we have been dedicated to offering unique experiences to our guests since 1956. We are a family-run hotel chain firmly that is firmly committed to friendly service and personalised attention, making us the choice of thousands of customers who trust us every year for their holidays in Mallorca.
Our 13 accommodations are located in some of the most unusual corners of the island, perfect for enjoying the sea, natural beauty and a wide range of leisure activities. Here, every stay becomes an unforgettable memory.
Our history
Our story begins in 1956, when Juan Socias and Catalina Fornes acquired the Hotel Miramar in Puerto de Alcudia, betting on tourism when it was barely starting to exist on the island.
This pioneering project has continued to grow ever since, but has always maintained its dedication and vision to become what JS Hotels is today: a family business committed to quality, friendliness and the well-being of each guest.
This philosophy is reflected both in the management of our hotels and in our guests’ loyalty. We believe that people make the difference, which is why we create genuine bonds with those who choose us as their home during the getaway to Mallorca.
Commitment to society and the environment
At JS Hotels we work every day towards more sustainable tourism. Our commitment to sustainability and responsible management of our accommodation has led us to implement circularity plans that include waste reduction, water and energy saving, and the consumption of local products.
Furthermore, we strictly comply with current environmental regulations to protect our privileged environment.
We also promote active and healthy lifestyles among our guests and employees, with the incorporation and continuous improvement of our sports services, as well as a varied gastronomic offer with healthy options.
Actions we take
Circularity and Sustainability Plans
Implementation carried out in collaboration with Sinergies.
- Purchase of locally sourced products (KM 0). 3% reduction in all hotels.
- Waste separation. Installation of recycling bins in common areas.
- Installation of LED lighting and occupancy sensors.
- Reduction of plastic packaging. Installation of soap, shower gel, and shampoo dispensers in all our hotels.
- Specific signage to inform guests about the circular economy initiatives being implemented and to encourage their participation.
- Water conservation.
- Efficient and responsible use of air conditioning.
- Change of bed linens and towels upon request.
- Controls to reduce waste in the Kitchen Department and responsible waste separation.
Installation of Photovoltaic Panels
JS Hotels, committed to sustainability and energy efficiency, has implemented a series of initiatives aimed at reducing its environmental impact and promoting the use of renewable energy in its establishments. As part of this commitment, photovoltaic systems have been installed at the hotels, enabling greater energy independence and a significant reduction in CO2 emissions:
• JS PORTOCOLOM SUITES with 44 kWp of installed capacity, an investment of €45,511.24, and a grant of €14,619.15.
• JS ALCUDI MAR with 47.15 kWp of installed capacity, an investment of €49,567.40, and a grant of €25,667.86.
• JS YATE with 50 kWp of installed capacity, an investment of €41,242.89, and a grant of €14,346.83.
• JS YATE with 50 kWp of installed capacity, an investment of €41,242.89, and a grant of €14,346.83. • JS SOL DE ACUDIA with 50 kWp of installed power, an investment of €41,242.89, and a grant of €14,346.83.
• JS PALMA STAY N17 with 15 kWp of installed power, an investment of €22,958.73, and a grant of €3,331.74.
• JS PALMA STAY N19 with 30 kWp of installed power, an investment of €33,452.41, and a grant of €5,994.63.
• JS PARADISE SPORT with 25 kWp of installed power, an investment of €32,100.00, and a grant of €8,933.93.
· HEAD OFFICES with 25 kWp of installed power, an investment of €10,500.00 and aid of €2,299.37.

Equality Plan
Implemented 2024 in JS Palma Stay.
Improvements in digitization and efficiency:
• Implementation of controls on electricity, gas, and water consumption.
• Installation of water-saving devices with Grupo Rabmer.
• Collaboration with Enovam for the certification of efficient processes.
• Investment in more efficient machinery: new gas and oil boilers, as well as duct insulation in several establishments.
• Acquisition of tablets and PDAs to minimize paper use.
JS Hotels, in its commitment to combating climate change, improving sustainability, and developing more responsible tourism, has implemented various actions to reduce energy consumption and emissions associated with hotel operations. These actions have benefited from a grant under the de minimis aid program for funding projects to improve energy efficiency and the circular economy in tourist establishments, within the framework of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, financed by the European Union’s Next Generation EU.
